Import and edit WebM video in Vegas Pro 19/18/17/16
When importing a WebM file, Vegas Pro always returns the an error message that can't support the format. To solve the issue, you need to install a specific codec or transcode WebM to Sony Vegas Pro supported MPEG (the most compatible video format for Sony Vegas) file format and then transfer the converted WebM files in Vegas Pro 19, 18, 17, 16 for editing.
To convert WebM video to Vegas Pro, we need to get some help from third-party software. After countless tests, I highly recommend Acrok HD Video Converter to all of you which can help the users to encode WebM files to Vegas Pro supported format at super fast speed effectively. Besides Sony Vegas, it also supplies powerful profiles to other NLEs, like Avid, Premiere Pro, Windows Movie Maker, .etc for Windows users.

Converting WebM to Vegas Pro Compatible Formats
Step 1: Download, install and run WebM Video Converter, then click "Add" button to load the WebM videos.
Step 2: Click "Format" bar to determine output format. Follow "Adobe Premiere/Sony Vegas" and select "MPEG-2(*.mpg)" as the output format. Besides, you can also choose WMV (VC-1) (*.wmv) if you want to get a relatively smaller output file.
Tip: You can adjust video and audio parameters, including the Bitrate of Video and Audio, the Codec of Video and Audio, Video Size, Sample Rate, Frame Rate, Audio Channels, etc., in the Profile Settings.
Step 3: Click the "Convert" button to start converting and everything else will be automated. If you have added quite a bunch of video files, it would take some time to convert. In such case, you can click Option and tick the box "Shut down the computer after conversion".
You're done. Now your WebM files will be converted into MPG files ready to be imported to Vegas Pro 19, 18, 17, 16 beautifully.
